Visiting Specialists: How do our veterinary specialists work?

VISITING SPECIALISTS

Travelling long distances with an ill pet for referral advice can be stressful for both you and your pet! At Heath Vets, we are privileged to be able to offer the services of several specialists.

ULTRASOUND

Andrew Denning

BVETMED CERTVR DVDI MRCVS CONSULTANT

Our team of veterinary surgeons can offer in house ultrasound scans, enabling us to carry out a detailed examination of internal organs such as the heart, liver, kidney or bladder, and many other internal structures. Some cases require a more in-depth scan; for this, we use specialist ultrasonographer, Andrew Denning and his mobile diagnostic imaging referral service.

Elise Robertson

FELINE SPECIFIC DIPLOMAT AND ENDOSCOPY REFERRAL SERVICE

Elise provides us with a visiting feline medicine referral and consultancy service. Elise is uniquely able to offer video-enabled endoscopy and endosurgery. These techniques can significantly help diagnose various gastrointestinal, lower and upper respiratory, urinary, and ear diseases while allowing for minimally invasive abdominal exploration and biopsy collection.
