Consultations
We run our surgeries by and appointment system, helping us to keep waiting times to a minimum. If you would like an appointment please do not hesitate to contact us and we will endeavour to book you an appointment that is convenient for you and your pet.

If your pet has an emergency please call the surgery immediately so that you can be seen as soon as possible.  If you have an emergency out of our daily opening hours please call the regular surgery numbers (01273 832968 or 01444 242500) and you will be transferred to PETS our 24 hour emergency practice who will be able to help.

If you are unable to keep your appointment we would ask you to contact us as soon as possible so that this time can be allocated to help another pet.

Home Visits
We appreciate that it can often be difficult to bring your pet into the surgery.  With our dedicated Pet Ambulance we are able to offer our clients home visits.  The ambulance enables us to transfer your pet to the surgery if necessary, where we have full surgical and hospitalisation facilities available.

If a home visit is required please telephone the surgery as soon as possible.

Surgery facilities
Both clinics have full surgical and hospitalisation facilities including the use of radiography, cautery units, blood pressure monitors and Pulse Oximeters.

We are ‘Gold Standard Anaesthesia’ accredited ensuring the highest quality of anaesthesia utilising comprehensive procedures and protocols.

Dispensing and repeat prescriptions
We are governed by extremely strict regulations and many drugs that we use require a recent clinical examination of the animal before they can be dispensed.

If your pet is on long term medication then you may require a repeat prescription.  A Veterinary Surgeons approval is needed to provide this and the animal must have received a complete clinical examination within the past six months. Pets with certain conditions may require clinical examination more frequently.  Please give us at least 24 hours notice prior to you requiring the prescription.

A full range of flea, worming treatments and pet accessories are readily available for registered animals, which no notice is required.  Please note 24 hours notice may be required for prescription diets.
